First off, you lot have a real treasure in Captain John! He was awesome, funny, informative, he was great with my two and 7 yr erstwhile! He Fabricated our... read more trip! We did the two hour individual charter for backwater fishing and it was fun!

We started off by applying sunscreen to my son which "burned" his eyes. John immediately swung over to a sand bar and told Aiden to Cannonball off the gunkhole and swim for a scrap to clean his eyes.

He then took us to his clandestine spot where we caught iv dissimilar species of fish. Without batting an eye made sure everyone was having a cracking time even the two year quondam when she got fussy. We never waited to have baited hooks and he didn't say a word when I caught a few " tree bass".

We ended our 2 hours with sand dollar hunting on a sand bar. He even rushed the states back to dock and then we could beat a storm that was rolling in.

This trip was astonishing and a heck of a value compared to always other charter service I priced out. You tin't get wrong with these people!

Cheers over again, we are already planning our adjacent trip for side by side year!

Fish here every time we come down. Went Mon and Tuesday this week. 9A-1P for $50. They provide tackle and allurement. You just show up. Saw bald eagles, manatees, and dolphins while line-fishing so we got the eco bout for gratis. Gunkhole almost always sees viii-10 species of fish. Restaurant next door will cook your fresh catch how you similar it with sides for most $ten.

We planned a trip to Daytona and anybody wanted to fish again. This is our 2d time with Ponce Inlet. We arrived on time met with our Captain and... read more crew, Helm Ingraham and Gina. Nosotros started out and it was wonderful as usual. Establish a spot to fish and we fished and fished some more. Sister caught the first one, and son defenseless several, grandsons also defenseless some. Some of us didn't but it's alright. Everyone didn't desire to bait the hook so Gina helped them. I started to bait my own and so my sister did information technology was great. Afterwards nosotros fished nosotros did some isle hopping, we wanted to find sand dollars which we didn't, lots of body of water shells. Overall great day we had a lot of fun. I'll e'er recommend Ponce to everyone that stays in or nigh Daytona. Thanks again Ponce for a wonderful time. The Westphal Family unit …

We made it piece of cake for him as nosotros fish... read more alot. but he was right there with the allurement and new hooks. Being from CT when it hit 75 degrees and raining Helm John had to put his raincoat on and my son and I had alot of fun razzing him. Nosotros caught a agglomeration of fish saw some manatees and dolphin fifty-fifty helped save a baby turtle. Was a great fourth dimension will decently be back next time we are there.

We saw lots of wildlife like manatees, dolphins, sting rays, and other smaller creatures. He brought complimentary drinks and took complimentary pictures of us while we were paddle boarding and sent them all to us for gratis. Highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Saw mixed reviews on it and I am really... read more glad I took the chance because it was really amazing. I signed upwardly as a single and was added to a small group. The captain who took the states out was patient and very skilful at finding the fish. We had two folks that had never fished before and he was astonishing as to how he instructed them and they had a blast. Nosotros were out iv hours on a cute day and caught trout, whiting's, grunts, amidst other types of fish. The gunkhole had all the gear you lot needed along with a nice encompass to keep the lord's day off of you. You simply bring h2o and snacks if needed. The captain cleaned the keepers and gave information technology to united states of america. Our group took the fish to the restaurant next door who cooked information technology up for us. I will definitely do this once again when I am back down in the area.

The dophins were popping up all around u.s.a., generally at a distance, simply a few times they were closer so we could run across them beautifully as they surfaced. The boat was quite comfortable, not crowded and well shaded with neat commentary.

We were told to be at that place half an hr earlier but at that place was no reason for that. Everybody else on the boat arrived at about 3 minutes if... read more even that until it was time to leave. The trip wasn't worth the price we paid. Be aware there is no bathroom on this gunkhole. The trip is only well-nigh xc minutes but when yous accept little ones they seem to merely have to go correct then and there. Thankfully ours didn't practice that but one child had to. This trip was not all hyped up to what it was to be. The crew we had were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Nosotros should have been advised that we could not have what nosotros requested, Josh said the weather was too bad only the weather forcast said the sea was mild, We paid $450. for a trip and only caught a few fish the size of bait. Don't waste your money with this arrangement.

Everybody else on the boat arrived at nearly three minutes if... read more even that until it was time to leave. The trip wasn't worth the price we paid. Be aware there is no bathroom on this boat. The trip is only about ninety minutes just when you take niggling ones they seem to just accept to go right and then and in that location. Thankfully ours didn't do that but one kid had to. I've taken a lot of gunkhole tours in my life, and this one was at the top of the heap! We had an afternoon to burn down at Ponce Inlet... read more than and we took the ii-hour tour with Captain Josh. Information technology was only my family of 5, including 3 girls and Josh was awesome at keeping anybody entertained. When he asked usa what nosotros wanted to do, I told him, but do your matter, we're good with whatever trip! He did not disappoint!

We saw the inlet up close and got a great rundown of local geography and history. Josh was crawly at pointing out points of interest on state and the water. Then he put us right on the dolphins. We saw so many, we lost count. My kids went bonkers when we spotted some baby dolphins. Being a private tour (the only way to go), Josh was able to go the states upwards close and personal to the dolphins and was very knowledgeable virtually dolphins in full general.

We finished up with a finish to fill our pockets upward with shells and our two hours were upward before we knew it. Josh had some smashing commentary on the houses and marinas in the surface area. His gunkhole handling skills were excellent and he is a very personable guide. Overall, we were all very happy with our bout. When we come up back to Ponce, we're looking him up!
